Mustard Lamb Chops Recipe

What makes these loin lamb chops called excellent is the combination of the thyme leaves, orange zest and mustard flavor that bring the loin lamb chops to a fantastic dish. There is no match with the level of tenderness and crunchiness of each bite these loin lamb chops can do.

Mustard Lamb Chops Recipe is always has been my favorite but it rejuvenates more of my enthusiast after I learn this excellent grill loin lamb chops from my grandma. She knows a hell lot of lamb chops recipe and I am sharing a few that I am able to cook.

  • 16 loin lamb chops (small preferred)
  • 1 cup or 50 ml of mustard
  • 2 tbsp of minced orange zest
  • 1 tbsp of chopped thyme leaves
  • 3 minced cloves of garlic
  • 4 tbsp of brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp sea salt
  • Black pepper


  1. If you have stored the loin lamb chops in the refrigerator then first bring it out and let it sit for next 30 to 45 minutes or until it comes to normal room temperature. This way it helps the lamb chops to cook easily as well as to produce a better taste.
  2. Discard the fat from the loin lamb chops.

  3. Take a bowl and add minced garlic, sea salt, 1/2 tablespoon of black pepper, thyme and orange zest. Now mix it well then add brown sugar and mustard to this mixture and mix it together.

  4. Now on high flame heat the grill. Taking each loin lamb chops separately coat the mixture on the both sides of each lamb chops keeping in mind we have to reserve half of the mixture for further use.

  5. Now transfer the loin lamb chops to the very hot grill and grill each side for 2 minute each. Now, use the reserve mixture and brush it evenly on each side of the lamb chops. Let it cook until it is completely cooked.

  6. On 145 degree F let the lamb cooked fully and to meet a nice doneness. Now off the loin lamb chops from the grill when it comes to 135 degree F.

  7. Take the lamb chops off the flame and shift it the plate and let it rest for 5 to 6 minutes or until it is comes to temperature able to serve.
