Ingredients

  • 1 Pound Of chicken breasts boneless and skinless
  • 5 Ounces Of all purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp Lemon pepper seasoning
  • 2 Lemons divided equally into 2 pieces
  • 2 tbsp Virgin oil
  • Kosher salt
  • 1/2 Cup Of chicken broth
  • 2 Cloves Of garlic finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • Cilantro leaves or Parsley for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

  2. Take a bowl and add all-purpose flour, lemon seasoning, kosher salt and 1 lemon zest. Give it a gentle mix.

  3. Use this mixture in the same bowl, add chicken breasts and start coating onto the chicken breasts so it covers the chicken nicely.

  4. Use the lemon zest and sprinkle onto the chicken breasts.

  5. In the very same skillet on medium flame and add olive oil. Once it hot, add chicken breasts pieces into batches and fry both sides very evenly until it turns golden in color. Flip it to fry the other sides.

  6. Now, add butter, chopped garlic, lemon and chicken broth and shift the skillet to oven.

  7. Bake the chicken until the internal temp reaches 170 degrees Fahrenheit and the sauce becomes thick. It will take approximately 15 minutes for this process.

  8. Shift the chicken breast to the serving bowl. Now, take this sauce and spread onto the top of chicken. Garnish with Cilantro leaves or parsley. Serve it instantly.

Recipe Notes

While making lemon zests it may need more lemon because of the sizes may vary. So, the 2 medium sized lemons can do wonder.

If you are going to applying the same recipe with seafood or pork, it will work fantastically but it will rather delicate with other proteins like lamb or beef.

If you have fine grounded pepper powder at home, reduce it to 3/4 tbsp but in course of grinding the whole pepper to make powder at home, 1 tbsp will be the best amount to use.
