  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp seasoning for chicken
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 tbsp black pepper
  • 2-3 cups of chicken
  • 3 cups of cooked rice
  • 2 cups of cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp thyme leaves
  • 1 cup broccoli or as required
  • 1/3 cup of butter

  1. Start off by setting your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease an 8x10 baking dish so the ingredients do not stick to the bottom or sides.

  2. Combine the cream of chicken soup, milk, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, seasoning, lemon juice and salt in a large bowl until all of the ingredients are thoroughly combined. Transfer this mixture into the greased pan that you have set aside.

  3. Take the cheese (thoroughly grated) and distribute it evenly over the combined ingredients in the dish.

  4. Combine the thyme leaves and butter, putting it over the very top layer. Put the dish in the oven for about a half an hour. You will need to wait until the casserole is warm all the way through. You can tell that it is done with the sides of the casserole have turned a golden brown color.

Recipe Notes

Make sure that you do not bake the casserole for any longer than 35 minutes, as it can quickly burn.

Also, you will need to grate the cheese beforehand so that it gets evenly distributed over the very top. As long as you follow these instructions, it should come out looking and tasting great.
