  • 2 large eggs
  • Olive oil
  • 2 oz or 60 gram of plain flour
  • 4 sausage of porky white's surrey pork
  • 1/4 skimmed milk
  • 1 small carrot chopped
  • 1 medium-sized potato chopped
  • 2 oz or 60 gram of peas
  • Kosher salt


  1. In a pan add 3 cups of water on high flame. When it comes to boil add the chopped potatoes, chopped carrot and peas and turn the flame to medium heat. Cook it for 8 to 10 minutes or until the vegetables cooked properly.

  2. Use a jug and add the 1/4 pint of skimmed milk, salt, and 2 large eggs. Whisk it well.

  3. Take a bowl and add plain flour then add the whisked eggs and milk mixture and gently mix everything for 2 to 3 minutes. Shift this to the jug and set it aside.

  4. Heat your oven to 200 degrees and 180 to the fan. Use a baking tray and spray olive oil on the base and transfer this to the middle rack of the oven.

  5. When the temperature slides out add the sausage and toss to mix them well and shift them directly back to the oven for a few minutes.

  6. Now, before using the jug mixture give it a final mix then slides out the tray and pour in the batter mixture and shift this back to the oven and cook for next 23 to 25 minutes.

  7. When it is finally ready, add the reserved veggies and make some gravy in the oven. Serve it hot!
