  • 300 gram of plain flour
  • 6 sausages of your choice
  • Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 200 ml of full-fat milk
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 2 egg whites
  • Water as required


  1. If you are using reserved sausages then first defrost them and let them come to normal temperature.

  2. Heat little oil in your baking dish and stir fry the sausages from all sides until they turn light brown from all the sides. Don't need to overcook them just brown them.

  3. For making batter add all the ingredients into a mixing bowl and whisk it well and don't let any lumps come to the mixture. Let everything incorporates well.

  4. Set the oven heat to 220 degrees and gas mark to 8.

  5. Use a dish and sprinkle some little oil onto it and pop it until it turns very hot. Shift the hot oil in the reserved batter. Let it sizzle for a while.

  6. Shift the dish back to the oven and cook the sausages and batter for next 30 to 40 minutes or until you see the top side turns golden in color.
