Ingredients

  • 100 gram plain flour
  • 1 white egg
  • 300 ml milk
  • 1/2 tsp mustard powder
  • 3 pieces of thyme leaves springs
  • 8 pork sausages
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 500 ml of beef stock
  • 2 medium sized onions finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • Pinch of salt or to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 220C/fan & 200C/gas7.

Preparing the batter

  1. Use a mixing bowl and add simple flour, mustard powder and salt. Mix it well. Dig in the centre to make a well and crack the egg and pour in the centre. Also add the milk little by little while making the batter.
