If you think of a dish that doesn’t use bone but chicken breast then you definitely are seeking the chicken parmesan recipe. It is easy to cook and super delicious when we eat. You can even enjoy the leftover tomorrow as a lunch.
Believe me, you would love the leftover too much as it sits to combine the flavored nicely.
If you want to save your time making this dish you can directly grate the onion instead of chopping them. It saves a lot more time because grating takes less time comparing to chopping or slicing.
Grated onions give much-flavored taste than the chopped one as it leaves a lot of water and very easy to brown them for a wonderful taste.

For a cozy weak night dinner chicken parmesan recipe can make best pair with the garlic bread when served hot and you can enjoy the leftover on the other day. This dish is very simple enough to make and unlike other chicken recipes it has completely different taste. I assure you it will be fun learning how to make chicken parmesan recipe.
- 1 1/2 lbs or 4 chicken breasts
- 2 large eggs white
- 2 tbsp of simple milk
- 2 oz parmesan cheese
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 4 cups of marinara sauce
- 4 tbsp vegetable oil plus as necessary
- 4 sliced provolone cheese
- 1 cup of dry breadcrumbs
- Basil leaves
- Kosher salt
- Pepper to taste
Making of chicken
On a smooth surface place a wax paper and cover it with the plastic wrap. Place the chicken breast one here.
By using a rolling pin or heavy pan or a big wine bottle roll the chicken breast until it gets 1/2 inches of thickness. Do the same one by one with all chicken breasts. Season the chicken breasts evenly with the help of salt and black pepper.
Use 3 round cake pans or any large dishes. In the first pan or dishes add the all-purpose flour. Season it with a little salt and black pepper. Give it a nice mix using a wooden stick or fork.
In the second pan or dish crack and add the eggs liquid. Now add the milk. Whisk everything until it becomes a smooth mixture.
Brown the chicken breast
Use the third pan or dish and add 1/2 of parmesan cheese followed by dried breadcrumbs. Now sprinkle some salt and black pepper. Use a wooden spoon or fork to mix it well.
Now one by one pick one chicken breast and dredge it gently into the flour mixture of 1st pan then dip the chicken breast into the egg milk paste until it nicely coats the chicken breast well. Then move it to third breadcrumb bowl. Sift the chicken breast to a baking sheet. Repeat the same process for rest of the chicken.
Use a skillet or a large pan and heat oil on high flame. Once the oil shimmers reduce the flame to medium-high and brown the chicken breasts into batches one by one. If you have a large skillet or a large pan, makes nestle of all 4 chicken breasts and brown it together to save your time.
To brown the chicken breast fry and cook them for 3 to 4 minutes from each sides. Flip and fry the other side. Now sift the brown chicken onto towel paper so it absorbs the excessive oil to make this dish healthy.
Finalize the dish
Heat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Take a 9 x 13 inch baking dish and by using ladle coat the bottom with enough marinara sauce. Now place the chicken breast onto the sauce.
Now using the sauce and put it on each chicken breast evenly. On top of it divide the basil leaves into 4 parts and add on chicken. Now divide the half or remaining parmesan cheese between the chicken and make a final top of with provolone cheese.
Transfer it to the oven and bake it for 15 to 20 minutes uncovered. Once the cheese turns brown in color instantly check the thermometer that reads 165 degrees.
Use additional sauce or sandwich roll or pasta to serve along with.
