  • 8 oz or 250 ml Thick condensed milk
  • 8 oz or 250 gram white sugar
  • 5 pieces of cashew
  • 6 pieces of almond
  • 5 pieces of pistachio
  • 8 pieces of raisins
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • 2 tbsp Clarified butter

Instructions

  1. Wash the red carrots in running water for several times so the unnecessary objects go out of the carrots. Now grate the carrots and shift to a bowl and set it aside. Use all dry fruits, chopped them nicely.

  2. Use a deep sauce pan and on medium flame heat clarified butter until it melts completely.

  3. Add the red carrots into the pan and gently fry them for 2-3 minutes.

  4. Add the sugar and stir for 1 minute. Add half condensed milk and stir and cook for a minute. Now, turn the flame to low.

  5. Add all chopped dry fruits to the pan. Stir and cook continuously for a minute. Cover the pan and let it simmer for 5 minutes.

  6. Open the cover and give a good mix. Do it in between until the water completely evaporates from the mixture.

  7. Now add reserve condensed milk and cardamom powder. Mix it gently for a while. Turn off the flame.

    Garnish the dish with chopped dry fruits of your choice.
