I have spent a long time looking for a good macaroni and cheese recipe, but I never had any real luck. It wasn’t until recently that I decided to make my own Macaroni and cheese recipe that my entire family could enjoy.

Mac and cheese is some of the best comfort food ever, but crock pot macaroni and cheese is the absolute best. If you own a crock pot but haven’t tried to make this dish with it before, you will certainly want to start with this recipe.

  • 1 lb of macaroni noodles
  • 1 tbsp salt or to taste
  • 1/4 cup of butter
  • 8 oz cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tbsp ground pepper
  • 4 oz Velveeta
  • 4 oz Monterey Jack cheese
  • 2 1/2 cups of two-percent milk
  • 1/2 tbsp paprika powder
  • 1 twelve ounce can of evaporated milk


  1. Combine the evaporated milk, paprika and other seasonings in a medium-sized bowl.

  2. Take the macaroni and pour it right from the box into your crock pot. Put the cheeses and butter on top of the macaroni in the slow cooker.

  3. Take the milk mixture and stir it in with everything else in the crock pot thoroughly.

  4. Make sure that you mix the uncooked macaroni noodles in with the rest of the ingredients. It is perfectly fine if it is not entirely covered.

  5. Put the cover on your slot cooker and turn it on low heat. You will want to cook it for at least 2-3 hours. Remember to stir the mixture every hour or so.

  6. You will know that the mac and cheese is done when all of the liquid is gone and the macaroni noodles are cooked all the way through.

  • You can use any brand of pasta that you want, as long as you make sure it is elbow macaroni.
