  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • Olive oil or vegetable oil

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and have the rack position to bottom thirds and on the top.

  2. Now in the running water wash and scrub the potatoes gently one by one then use a fork and make 3 to 4 holes on each side. This will help cooking the russet potatoes better while letting the potatoes escapes the moisture.

  6. Transfer this to serving bowl and use a fork to create an end to end line then crack the spud open. It helps the potatoes to get pop open towards the front.

If you are baking more than 4 potatoes you need to bake it for additional 10 to 15 minutes and baking time also varies depend upon the quality and size of the potatoes. I have used large potatoes to make this dish.

You can also do the variation while using garnishing it with cheese and parsley and also do the stuffing with the goose fat. It is very necessary to add the goose fat when it is very hot.
