- 1/2 cup of all purpose flour
- 2 lbs beef stew
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion sliced
- 2 pieces of bay leaves
- 1/4 cup of Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cups of water
- 4 medium size big red potatoes
- 3 carrots peeled and chopped
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1/2 tbsp pepper
- 2 heaping tsp beef Swanson flavor boost
- One stalk celery to garnish
Use a bowl and add beef stew meat, all-purpose flour and salt. Use your finger or a wooden spoon mix gently so the beef stew gets nicely coated.
Take a skillet and over medium flame heat olive oil in the skillet. Add the coated beef stew and fry it from all sides until each side turns golden brown in color.
Sift it to the bottom of the slow cooker and season with the black pepper.
