  • 2 lbs or 900 gram of red potatoes
  • 5 cloves of garlic finely minced
  • Kosher salt
  • 2 + 1 tbsp of cooking oil
  • Ground pepper
  • 1 tbsp of melted butter
  • Parsley to garnish


  1. Preheat your oven to 450 degrees F.

  2. Scrub and rinse the potatoes nicely then dry potatoes using kitchen towel. Cut each potato into 4 equal pieces. You can also use fork and pierce 3 to 4 times into each quarter sized pieces for a better taste.

  3. Take a large bowl and add the potatoes with garlic and 1 tablespoon of oil. Toss the potatoes then sprinkle kosher salt and ground pepper. Toss it again.

  4. Take a baking sheet and line using a foil paper then greases it evenly using the cooking oil. Adjust the baking sheet to the middle of the oven. Now, bake it for next 25 minutes. It will be a good idea if you put the skin down of the potatoes for nice crispy taste.

  5. When the potatoes color change to golden brown off the flame and drizzle using melted butter. Finally, garnish it with fresh chopped parsley.
