Russet potatoes and the red potatoes are one of the best potatoes recipes that taste nice when it is baked for a precise time. You don't even need to peel the potatoes, instead, pin using a fork so it gives a tender and soft taste from the inside as well.
- 4 large russet potatoes
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- Kosher salt
- Shredded cheddar cheese
- Fresh chives
Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F.
Scrub and rinse the potatoes in the running water for 2 to 3 times then gently wash and dry them using a kitchen towel. Use a fork to pierce the potatoes on each side for 2 to 3 times. Rub each of the potatoes with oil and kosher salt.
Take a baking sheet and make a line with foil paper then using cooking spray shift the potatoes to the oven. Make sure to have some room among the potatoes.
Transfer the baking sheet to the middle of the oven. Bake it for next 45 minutes. To check for doneness poke the potatoes using a fork, if it is tender inside then it is completed cooked now.
